The answer is zero. We don't need a coach that needs to think about this for months. A guy who took a job at Western Mich and now sits on a Purdue offer. Get real is what I say to that. I say get lost time to look elsewhere. Purdue needs a guy who is a winner and no more of this 4 year deal crap. We are not able to wait 4 years to have a resembling football team. We'll know a lot about a coach with his first team and how they play. A significant portion of salary needs put on performance. That's just the nature of this profession. If this guy doesn't appear to perform then the option to terminate after 2 years is essential.
