Would not say that. They are going to throw a ton of money at him. God bless him if he goes 6-6 there though. However, a lot of $$$$ can make up for a lot of BS. If he wants to make the most money that he can, then he should go. If not, he should stay.Brohm might be going to Tennessee per multiple sources.... I'm going to cry if this is true.... he would be a idiot if he leaves

True, but at this point in the game, a lot of dominos have already fallen. We'd be scraping the bottom of the barrel. If he does leave, Purdue will be flush with cash to hire his replacement.
Brohm is out on the road recruiting right now and is likely not on campus right now as the team is likely either taking an extended break from practice to heal or is being led by one of the assistant coaches. Looking at a flight tracker right now probably isn't too useful since I'm not sure any one really knows where Brohm currently is.And then there's this http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N111UT
Why would he be an idiot? I'm guessing he didn't come to PU to stay more than four or five seasons.Brohm might be going to Tennessee per multiple sources.... I'm going to cry if this is true.... he would be a idiot if he leaves
He has no agent. Does it all on his own.More likely Brohm would use agents to do the talking. No doubt he is out recruiting for Purdue, though that doesn't mean his agent isn't talking to the UT folks. Agents are used to avoid these sticky 1-foot-out-the-door scenarios.

Cory Trice said it was taken today. Hopefully this is good news

I believe that kid might be a UT de-commit

That's all I've read that he does his own deal. Don't know for sure.I've seen similar things posted before, but I'm not sure why. It's been reported in the past that his agent is Shawn Freibert: http://www.jconline.com/story/sport...-brohm-purdues-football-commitment/612979001/
"A call was arranged with Brohm for the next day with the help of DHR International, the search firm Purdue used in the process, and Brohm’s agent and close friend, Shawn Freibert."
You guys don't get it. All of these coaches have huge ego's. In his mind he is thinking he is going to return Tennessee to the glory days of Phil Fullmer and be the next God of Knoxville. Which if it would happen he can name his own price from here on out. If it doesn't work out he can always go back to a smaller school and be successful. If you think you can be the best coach out there wouldn't you rather put your schemes up against the Sabans and the Malzahns of the world or against Chris Ash and DJ Durkin? Not saying he is taking the job but this is just how these coaches think. On top of that he would get 6-7 million per year in a place like Knoxville?

A rich idiot. I will thank him for 2017. Feel a bit played especially if he does not give Purdue a chance to counter. And the sun will rise in the East tomorrow.Brohm might be going to Tennessee per multiple sources.... I'm going to cry if this is true.... he would be a idiot if he leaves
RW, if someone came along and offered you a great location, a totally dedicated audience, security for life to the point even your kids would never have to worry about a job....what would you do?A rich idiot. ThanksBuckeye fan here. I hope he stays because the B1G should have Purdue relevant again. And also because watching Tennessee fans flip out is priceless.
Miles first if he'd even come now. Bielema is a B10 guy who made a dumb choice.Serious question...would you want Bret Bielema?
The Purdue job is not security for life? I think he has a pretty good audience here and could be here probably as long as he wants. So lets say at Purdue he can get $4 mil for 6 years. $24 million. Lets say Tennessee gives him $7 mil for 4 years $28 million. If he doesn't win the SEC he will be on his ear. A lot less pressure at Purdue where 8-4 gets you the keys to the city.RW, if someone came along and offered you a great location, a totally dedicated audience, security for life to the point even your kids would never have to worry about a job....what would you do?
I'd have no problem w/ him, proven he could win in the BIG10, prefer Norvell or Sumlin.Serious question...would you want Bret Bielema?

Bielema can't stand on his own two feet without Papa Barry.Serious question...would you want Bret Bielema?
Valid point....but there's that one big gorilla in the room....a coach's ego. Would you rather go against Allen at IU or Saban at Bama? The Purdue job is not security for life? I would rather go against Saban at Bama once in a blue moon and take a shot in a bowl game. Not every third Saturday in October.Valid point....but there's that one big gorilla in the room....a coach's ego. Would you rather go against Allen at IU or Saban at Bama?
No...I don't want a boring offense with a bad defense....had that with Hazell.Miles first if he'd even come now. Bielema is a B10 guy who made a dumb choice.
That says it all. IU fans are all giddy about the possibility of Brohm leaving. They have no bowl, but the thought of beating PU again has them in a group orgy.I would rather go against Saban at Bama once in a blue moon and take a shot in a bowl game. Not every third Saturday in October.
