Honestly, did you really think they had a chance to win 6 anyways? We see this story every year... IU wins 3 or 4 non cons against cupcakes and then wins 0 to 2 conference games.
Slim chance, but they were going to have to beat Minny & Maryland to get to 6. No way they beat us if we continue playing like we are, and I think we will.
But yes, it is “same story, different year” for them.
Another weekend, another Big Ten loss for IU.
They should be optimistic about next weekend though. They won't lose next weekend. Of course, this is due to it being a bye weekend for them.

I wouldn't be so sure, they opened as 7 point dogs to bye.
Probably as many as were there in the fourth quarter of the PSU game.
I watched the last 4 minutes of the game. I almost thought they would pull it out. And then they fell apart. They will now have to beat both Maryland and Purdue to be Bowl eligible. If they lose to Maryland, their season will be before the Purdue game making it easy for us to get wins against Minn and IU for another Bowl season.
