Holt is doing the best he can with limited resources. There's a reason we haven't beaten Wisconsin in years, we simply don't have the talent and depth to make it to November and withstand that punishing style of play. As a DC you can only do so much to cover up deficiencies like Holt has. There's no covering up when you play Wisky. It doesn't matter if you know what's coming when you can't hold the point of attack at the line of scrimmage. The loss of Thieneman exposed this defense because he cleaned up a lot of mistakes in the back-end. It's obvious you have no clue
