I remember him. He verbaled to Purdue but never signed. I'm not sure if Purdue ever gave him an offer. I also don't believe he academically qualified. The only reason I remember him was not because of his talents, but rather the name of the team he ended up playing for was a cool name.

If a player verbally commits to a school, but the school never offers them a scholarship, does that really qualify as being a commit? I remember several other players Purdue had interest in, but did not qualify academically, so they went to a junior college hoping to gain a Purdue scholarship and it never happened.
