Heide to Texas

He has potential to be a beast in their style of play. Good luck to him and curious to see how he does with them…

All the best to CH, if he wanted to be a starter next year it wasn’t going to be at Purdue…….senior year maybe at 3, DJ 5/RB4

Their style of play? Sean miller just became their coach
Miller has typically employed more up tempo offenses, motion style off ball movement and picks creating shots for his shooters… I’d consider heide as a shooter and he will be moving and having sets run to get him open and cutting to the rim. Maybe I’m wrong and at Texas he runs a different style, just me speculating

Think he has more guys ahead of him there than he did at Purdue 😂

Not sure he will see more than the mins he would here but I’m sure he got paid.

Good for him and good luck in the SEC!
You couldn’t be more wrong.

Several highly intelligent hoops savants on this very board have pontificated that CH is STRICTLY in the portal in order to get more playing time….

CMP just doesn’t know how to make the most of his talent!!!😉

(All kidding aside, best of luck to Cam— hopefully he found what he was looking for.)

Maybe but it's a system that caters to his abilities so he'll have a real opportunity to start. Obviously if he doesn't then that's probably his last shot but it's a shot nonetheless.

Seems most often when someone leaves to another school they don't suddenly do any better than they did playing for Purdue. If anyone has any examples of anyone making a giant leap after leaving, I would be all ears. We will see how it goes. Maybe I am wrong, but I thought Cam would have had a good shot at being in the starting line-up next year.

Kyle Macy.

Only a geeezer like me would remember him😎

Nor sure how you know that at this point in time, given the new coach— but I’ll take your word for it.

Either way, the heapin’ helping of Longhorn Largesse should help ease his transition to Shangri-La….

I would agree with that.
But also offer up Dan Palembizio.
