Have to hand it to Iowa.

I don't think there is another team in the country playing as well as they are right now.
I'm really not sure there has been a team that has had as long of a streak playing so well either.

Congrats Hawks.
Plus, they have quality wins..

OMHR is playing the way I envisioned our guys would be playing this season. They are getting it done with senior leadership and ownership, mental and physical toughness, great execution on both ends of the court and not letting up when they get teams down. Hard not to respect the job their team and coaching staff are doing.

having what may very well be the best player in the big doesn't hurt the coaches or other players either...

As a Hawkeye, I appreciate your thoughts.

We are amazed that Iowa has now won 13 straight B1G conference regular season league games dating back to last season.

You have a good team Purdue.

Going into this season AJH was considered as a POY candidate as well and Davis was the reigning DPOY. Iowa senior leaders are getting it done this season, best of all, to date.

I know what was considered. Aj is dependent on getting the ball and has played very well for Purdue. I'm not sure Davis is having as good of a year as expected. That said Uthoff is much less dependent on getting fed the ball. being 6'9" and versatile rather than just a 5 allows him to take whatever advantage he has that game. 5's are only as effective as those that can get the ball to them as well as commanding "some" attention. I think I could swap any player off Purdue for Uthoff and Purdue leads the Big...he is that good or at least playing that well right now...

Inconsistent outside shooting hurts a 5. Uthoff creates on his own and in set plays. Best player on his team and maybe the big ten

I think Uthoff is also leading the league in blocks with AJH second. Right now, have to consider him for national POY.

Btw, TMHR's remaining schedule for those who have inquired:

Road games: @ MD (next TH), Illinois, Indiana, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan

Home Games: NW, Penn State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana

Looks like they could run the table.
I don't see anyone staying with them in the loss column with their hot start and sweep of both MSU and Purdue.
Can't wait to see us play them again in the BTT.
