Going to be a long day

I’m a Louisville guy and even our media saying this report isn’t true.
One thing that will certainly come out of this - regardless of where he goes - is the Louisville “media” will be required to have scare quotes around it going forward. Demling and that Bozich (sp?) guy seem to be the only ones not just throwing random rumors out there.

As painful as the wait is, isn't it awesome to have Purdue Football in the national spotlight?! This is going to pay dividends....

Hopefully next year a national media spotlight will all be about the outstanding performance on the field heading into some major post-season play. But, in the meantime, any press is good press!

If he stays it will pay dividends. If he leaves we are a laughing stock again and start at the bottom.

If it’s just Brohm, his agent, and MBob meeting, that’s a very, very good sign IMO.
Maybe are discussing the best way to announce his contract extension. I picture Brohm shooting a rifle at a one of two targets, one with a P that gives off a gold explosion when hit, and one with an L that give off a red explosion. To keep the suspense, have him do it in a remote area between West Lafayette and Louisville, say somewhere in Monroe County.

I think we're OK either way (still think he stays).

If he leaves, the narrative is simply that the emotional pull to Louisville was too much. I think that most could understand that and it will leave us as one of the top open jobs. Without the drama and exposure, would we still be seen in this light?

If he stays, it just reinforces that there is something very special happening here.

Last time someone did something like that, they sparked an 8 million dollar fire in California.

Yeah .. I'm a buzzkill :)

The other thing that comes out of this is that we are all going to have to go to the doctor and get our blood pressure checked.

Dang twitter I need to stay off. DBELL liked the most recent article of recruits breing told Brohm to lousville

My heart continues to hope he stays, my head continues to think he goes.
Will be a little surprised either way.
Really surprised nothing leaked from anyone.

I would absolutely LOVE it if he made an announcement like some recruits do, by picking up the Boiler hat and putting it on in front of the whole football team and everyone gettin PUUUUMMMMPED by it, recorded and tweet ad nauseam

That would be epic. I've thought of a similar scenario, but without the hats.

He should call a meeting and walk in wearing a Louisville hat. When the guys react, take it off and put it on a shelf and pull a Boiler cap tightly over his heard...the reaction would be legendary.
