Gives a whole new meaning to the "lean" years of Purdue basketball.
Based on the poll responses, it would be a logical assumption that this board is marked by its maturity. But based on most of the written posts, you would have to respond, "Uh... no."
54, Attended Purdue from 1981 to 1985 (Graduated from Purdue in 1985). Spent my freshman year in the Quad long before it was renovated. My senior year, Troy Lewis, Everette Stephens and Todd Mitchell were freshman. Been bleeding gold and black since 1980. My nickname Purdue0034 is a tribute to my childhood sports hero Walter Payton No. 34.

Would have been a lot easier if you were IU fans. All you'd have to do would be to yell down the basement stairs.

Fan since around '77 or '78 (I believe) when several Purdue players visited our Elementary school, and I was amazed at the extremely tall guys, who had to duck, just to walk through our classroom doorways.
Been annoying the endless sea of self-righteous IU fans around here every since...

71. Graduated in '68. Great years to be on campus. Grandfather graduated in 1911, and his younger brother in 1912 with a degree in "Mechanics". Moved to Detroit to get into that new fangled auto industry, hoping it might catch on. I have their 1912 Debris yearbook. Interesting sections on athletics during those days.
