I think the two point attempt is the right call this late in the game. Up 12 with 7 minutes left. Not enough time for Illinois to kick two fgs and score a TD and not enough likelihood that they miss an XP so you try to go up 14 rather than 13. A little earlier in the game I'd agree with you.

Defense pitching a shutout in 2nd half. In spite of the poor records, mediocre recruiting, and team struggles the last few years, Bentley, McCullum, and Bailey are maybe the best trio of LBs the Boilers have had since I don't know when.

they also used that play ( twice) I wanted to see last week, where the line goes right and the QB tosses backwards to the RB going the opposite way.

i agreed with going for two, just thought the play call was not the best especially putting sindelar in harms way

he caught the ball as the obvious pass interference was not called. how can you miss a push in the back like that?
