Yes and if you are referring to the Purdue guys left in the portal the majority of them just entered a week ago or less so it’s hard telling where they’ll end up but most likely they won’t be coming back to Purdue after entering this late. Lewis and Crimmins have been in it for weeks now so they could be a maybe on a return. Brown just entered a couple days ago. Green and Smith probably had to wait on their checks to clear for the year before bolting to the portal. M’ba and Wingfield recently entered due to the new JUCO rule allowing JUCO guys to play more years in college.

I think it’s all based off timing and talent. If you entered early in the process and you have any kind of experience/talent you’re going to get overreacted like crazy and find a new home quickly when rosters have empty spots to fill. If you are highly talented it’s all the same things but with lots of money involved. When the markets hot it’s Hot! And when it’s cold it’s cold and that’s when kids are left behind signing with lower level schools. But yes there is plenty of talent left in the portal but you definitely have to do your homework to sort through all the bs.

Even if this is a joke. I'm going to assume a ton, after April 7th and before/during the spring transfer window. We are going to see less transfer-out kids with the roster reduction and see a higher payout for those on the new limited rosters. We may see kids decide to stick around because of this reduction.

I agree. I just think in the future some of these transfers will be limited and most schools will have the tv revenue share to pay them.

Yes and yes! It’s so easy for guys to just transfer out its still going to happen at a fair rate but with limiting roster spots I do believe it’ll slow it down and make guys think twice before jumping the gun for the portal. It’ll just make the smaller schools even more of a stepping stone to the power schools with limited spots.
