Really good challenge for the Boilers.....one of the better back-courts they will face. Need an all-hands-on deck effort on both ends of the floor.
Match-up predictor has it as 62.4% Virginia Tech.....can the underdog Boilers claim the Charleston Tourney Title? We shall see.

Could this be the first game since the AZ game last year where Purdue isn’t favored by the BPI?
Could be JDB.....don't recall about the game in East Lansing last year. That would be the other one possibly.

Looks like it will be a heightened pace....I like some of the defensive possessions so far.....Va Tech has made a couple of tough shots.
I think this years team is more suited to the pace than the last few..
Boilers need to play at the pace THEY are comfortable with...not where VT wants them to be. This is where not having PJ hurts more than anything.
Also, need to get the ball inside to force Blackshear in to foul trouble. They have nobody behind him in terms of rebounding or offense.
