now comes what I was waiting to see, how the team comes out in the 2nd half, we were in alot of games last year until there was a collapse.
But didn't you often feel that the being close was always self induced by our opponent?
Al l I'm asking for is to keep it close , and let's make some second half adjustments, like having evans kick the long Fgs and get a punt returner who knows what he's doing, and better coverage on kick-offs.
I know that sounds critical and we're ahead, but those would be signs of a real coach making half time adjustments rather than celebrating the lead like hazell would.

horrible special team play so far. never should have run the ko out of the end zone and then pathetic punt coverage. not to mention a blocked fg attempt
We knew the defense would have to force turnovers to give Purdue a chance. They're doing it!
That MD/TX game was crazy.....two blocked FG TD's in the same half.....plus a punt return TD and an interception return.
