Was the reason that game was so close. As soon as we got into our offense we were down to 15 seconds left on the shot clock. Combine that with some early missed three's (which are essential for breaking a press) and we were in a dog fight.

I don't think it was that much of a factor. They took the ball from Thompson a couple of times with the pressure, but I don't think it really "made" the game as close as it was.

The Lions D really made us uncomfortable. We could have used the good Carsen tonight to combat it better.

There is some truth that we had less time on the shot clock by a few seconds than we usually have. The two together made it tough. That, plus players passing up a good shot to work for a better one that never came.

Having said that, who thought Dakota's one three with the guy right on him with his hand in Dakota's face would go in?

It was a minor factor. Two of our six best offensive weapons not firing on most cylinders had the greatest impact. .... and this is the attribute of great teams ... when their best weapons (although we have many) are stopped, they still go on to win.
