All you people ever can’t do is fire the person in charge! Is that how your company you work for works? Fire your boss or your manager or your ceo when you are the ones not doing your job to make your business more successful!

How many of you have actually tried to help the team of the coaches and actually talked to coaches to find out what their issues are? How many of you have spent any time talking to the players?

How many of you have actually contributed more than $10,00 to the team? If you have contributed more than $1 million then yes, you can request the coach be replaced. But if all you’ve done is buy some tickets and beer, Then you have no business yelling Fire! You’re just like those who yelled hang Pence. Because you didn’t get your way!

You realize if Purdue fires Walters the money for his buyout and new coach will come from the money that’s earmarked for the NIL. So get a new coach and then have less money to buy your athletes. You also realize that if Purdue buys out their coach, that money is going to come from somewhere. And basically it’s going to come from you in higher ticket prices and higher beer and hot dog prices.

So unless you want to fork over $9 million, I suggest you stop your complaining.

Dude - follow up on your promise from last spring and leave this board.
It’ll save you a ton of time reposting the same garbage over and over and over again.
You’ll have more time to endlessly fawn over your son’s coaching prowess.

You have the dumbest posts I've ever read. You're like Billy Madison and his rambling about the puppy who lost his way. The TV contract money alone could pay the $9 million buyout to Walters and $8-9 million per year to a new coach which is what Cignetti is getting at IU.

Stop making stuff up. Bobinski said the $9m (actually $3m per year) is a non-issue and he also said they will spend the full NIL allowance and get money from school if they have to.

Yeah but it’s flushing money down the toilet with the current coach. Hopefully he’s just placating the guy behind closed doors and already has a search underway!

There is no need to be concerned about Walters getting fired. That will not happen! The Purdue Administration is not committed to having a winning program, so until that happens, if it ever does, Walters will be HC and Purdue will be at the bottom of the Big Ten standings! for the foreseeable future!

Another clueless post about money. Money is not the issue. Period. End of story. If iu, the worst program in NCAA history, can find $72M for their coach, then any school can find the money.

Is Wole the guy who used to talk about his experience with the college recruiting process making him an expert, but then we find out he was being recruited by like an NAIA school for cross country or something like that? (and NAIA doesn't even offer scholarships)

Yes, i’ve seen executives, CEOs and presidents all let go for underperformance. Certainly they don’t keep their jobs for a historically bad performance.

Surprised you’d ask that. This is the way corporate America works, in order to stay competitive. Perhaps you’ve been mostly in a union organization, or perhaps a government department that has little accountability?
