I trust Musk and Trump much more than all the bureaucrats who have been sucking at the taxpayer teet for way too long with zero oversity and accountability. As BNI says, the chickens have come home to roost and the welchers don't like being exposed.

No worries. Trump is gonna make all that up by selling citizenship to rich foreigners.
Better than letting them in free and putting them on the tax payers dime. At least rich foreigners have demonstrated a level of competence in business and finance, thereby, more like to be contributing members to American society.

That's kinda hilarious. That's all Elon has ever done.

He sucked some teet. Billions. And still is.
He took advantage of idiot fed pork policies, like subsidies for ev's.

Do you think his company is going up to rescue stranded astronauts because of government pork he arranged that keeps NASA and Boeing from being able to do it? Or that he provided free emergency starlink communications to Ukraine when it was invaded, or to North Carolina, LA, etc after natural disasters because he forced those vital services on the government through shady deals? Do you think thousands if not millions of people were not grateful to him to be able to contact loved ones when all other means of communications had been destroyed?

If you think that stuff was free you're nuts. Starlink was provided through USAID!!!! https://www.snopes.com/news/2025/02/11/musk-usaid-starlink/
You are so far gone you're down there with Bob locked in your echo chambers of dumb.

You are claiming Musk did not provide emergency starlink access for people in great need, but instead waited to sign a federal contract to do so?

Is that your claim.

This is very specific. Tax credits for manufacturing
Advanced Manufacturing Production Tax Credit: Provides a credit for producing eligible battery components in the US, including cells, modules, and active materials.

Billions
Point to where it says Musk was behind this. All I see is this:

"The money is part of a larger effort by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to boost production and sales of electric vehicles as a key element of their strategy to slow climate change and build up U.S. manufacturing."

So what. Are you saying Musk should not have sought these tax credits?

Or are you saying he paid off Biden and the dems to push these idiot government policies?

He's a lying hypocrite conflict of interest ****ing asshole who has done nothing but live off the government.
You have Musk Derangement Syndrome. Are you envious of his success?

Next you'll say he is living off the government by sending up a rescue mission that Boeing couldn't keep its part of the deal with NASA. Do you think Musk sabotaged Boeing?

You keep moving the goalposts. This is the equivalent of Soros running DOGE.

Let this sink in.
Still, it is Musk who will decide when there is a conflict of interest and when he should remove himself. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt earlier said the President claimed that “if Elon Musk comes across a conflict of interest with the contracts and the funding that DOGE is overseeing, then Elon will excuse himself from those contracts.”

What goalposts? I said and still say his government contracts are in the open - and that he is a patriot who quickly provided critical communications capabilities at times of great need to Ukraine, NC, LA, etc - without waiting for idiot government contracting requirements and all the rest of it.

Let this sink in. All the mainstream press and all the dems want him to fail (the country be damned) and will be watching for any possible conflict of interest.

The US purse strings are not under the Executive branch.
"The Constitution’s Article I, Section 9 grants Congress the power of the purse to approve spending in the federal budget in the Appropriations Clause, which reads in part, “No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law.”

The Constitution then delegates to the president the task of spending approved funds in the Take Care Clause, which requires the chief executive “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.”
