Every Single Boilermaker or L’ville Cardinal needs to listen to this....

I don't even care if he did it for the cash and this was all BS....still glad he's our coach.

Understand...
But you will really be missing out if you miss the opportunity to hear him talk about this...

How do you pronounce 'Scheidt'? Don't know if I would like have that last name my entire life!

Hes a good dude but we knew that. The guy that did the interview botched a bit at the very end. Jeff was talking about recruits saying they would go with him if he left not current players.

Jeff mentioned both recruits and current players. His leaving would have been a major setback for the program. Which I think factored into his decision.

"I have multiple guys on this team that asked not whether I was going to Louisville or not, but 'hey coach, if you go, I want to go with you.' And these are prominent guys and you know what? That is not a good look. That would have happened whether I could control that or not.”

It was gut wrenching for me to even listen to him talking about telling his dad he was staying at Purdue. Not many men like him out there in the coaching world like him.

We are biased...but I think the choice was easier than he let’s on.

I’ve been in some situations with my career where tough choices to stay or move on where made and I broke it down like that and was always confident Brohm would stick around.

Why leave a situation where you’ve been promised the world and actually been given that level of support? Why leave a team you have crafted in your image that only gets deeper and better with the high level recruits you bring in the next year?

I literally think it was family feel good vs career...and when you are the provider for your family you have to protect your career. I think Jeff could easily look at the situation he’d be walking into at Louisville and feel some doubt on if he could turn that ship around. Couple that with what would be lofty expectations...I think the career security and pathway to what he’s ultimately looking for (conquering the NFL as a coach since he didn’t as a player) was much surer here than at Louisville

I am quite tired of the whining about money and the negativity from supposed fans. A winning team sells seats. A winning team plays in bowl games and, hopefully, on NYD. A winning sports program brings even greater recognition to our already prominent Alma Mater.
Some Purdue fans need to grow the **** up.

If i had to guess sindelar and moore are 2 of the players who would have followed him. Current players plus what im guessing would have been a majority of our recruiting class leaving would have absolutely devastated us.

I doubt Sindelar would have. His goal is an MSECE degree from Purdue.
