Amen. I may be naive to think that he'll get beaten on less in the NBA than the shit that he put up with in college but an 82-game season is no joke.

I know very little about refereeing but the idea of hiring full-time BT-only refs (maybe even just the lead official for each game), paying them well, and holding them accountable seems like such an easy decision. Put a stop to the 'they can't call them all' nonsense consistently and it goes away.

Good point. The schemes will be important on both sides. We saw that he can be an elite rim protector, Memphis will try to scheme to maximize that, and opponents will try to get him in isolation and take advantage of mismatches.
