Not that it is any surprise to Purdue fans, but Edey appears to be on a mission. He was always in great shape for his size, but it appears that he is doing even better than that.
Amen. I may be naive to think that he'll get beaten on less in the NBA than the shit that he put up with in college but an 82-game season is no joke.Hopefully he can stay healthy. That season is a long, physical grind.
Never know…they may implement the “hack an edey” and “they can’t quite possibly call every foul” like Northwestern and Tennessee tried 😂 😂Amen. I may be naive to think that he'll get beaten on less in the NBA than the shit that he put up with in college but an 82-game season is no joke.
I know very little about refereeing but the idea of hiring full-time BT-only refs (maybe even just the lead official for each game), paying them well, and holding them accountable seems like such an easy decision. Put a stop to the 'they can't call them all' nonsense consistently and it goes away.Never know…they may implement the “hack an edey” and “they can’t quite possibly call every foul” like Northwestern and Tennessee tried 😂 😂
Good point. The schemes will be important on both sides. We saw that he can be an elite rim protector, Memphis will try to scheme to maximize that, and opponents will try to get him in isolation and take advantage of mismatches. If his level of D can keep him on the floor, then yes, we know his O can be more than dominant. Curious about the former though....
