Had the privilege of getting to see him at the watch party in Houston. It was a great atmosphere last night so I'm excited at the chance for him to experience the full fan support and experience of the Mackey family from the sliver that we were able to provide.
Looks every bit of a player ready to come in and put forth the effort to become a strong asset to the team. His family said he really wanted to see Purdue beat Iowa State because of how upset and mad at him the coaching staff of ISU was for his choice of Purdue over ISU.
Funny story: one of the alumni noticed his height and said he should play for our team, and he just calmly said he's going to be on the team next year. Needless to say she had a very surprised look on her face by finding out who he was.
