what exactly are these players getting Thousands/Millions to play for a college team, doing to get all this money? Must be doing a hell of a lot of something. Aren't they required to do something for the money?

We would be better off if we just contracted for 6 concerts of athletic related events in the fall. And just pay to see a performance. That’s all we as fans want: entertainment. Let football teams be like traveling shows and basketball teams be like the globetrotters! Make it like the WWE Or monster trucks. Take the school out of the sport and let the sport Create its own show.
Ask yourself if the basketball teams were like the globetrotters, people would still go to the games to see the show.
Let them be their own private entity. If they want to actually attend classes at our school make them pay for it!
