Was wondering if CMP is keeping tabs on him now that he is transferring from O$U.

6ft 9in 205 4 star....would have been a sophomore at O$U.....

Dereck Funderburk Sr. was a good player/coach and his son seems to have a good frame and body for Big Ten.

I know CMP was interested the first go around and of course he picked O$U....but just wondering if we have any interest even though he would have to sit a year.

Just throwing this out there in case anyone has heard anything.

I live in the Columbus area, and the couple of people I have heard from suggest that his choices were either to transfer or be kicked off the team. I don't have any kind of confirmation beyond rumors, but they imply we dodged a bullet on this one.

His daddy was good and he seems to have a good frame and mindset for Big Ten.

Also, Lawrence Funderburke isn't his father. Their last names are spelled differently.

You assumed I meant Big L......because you just have to be you.

I had never heard of Derek Funderburk, Sr. as a basketball player, so yes, I assumed you were referring to Lawrence Funderburke. Is that wrong that I was trying to help you out for future reference?

So is it his son or not? Now I'm confused.

Regardless, OSU was desperate for bodies this past year, so if he couldn't get tick, he's probably not worth a scholly

Yes it was wrong because I already knew....no need to correct me nag...worry about yourself.

Then you should educate yourself on Derek Sr.......I thought you knew all.

I didn't know that you knew. I can't read your mind. I was honestly just trying to help you out. From now on, if I see a factual error in your posts, I won't bring it up. How about that?

That's the point, there was no error.....you made the error by assuming.

I meant his father Derek Sr.....geesh comprehend much?

It could be implied as an error, because I think many on here remember Lawrence Funderburke and ALSO, I've read (at the least) one or two posts in the past on here where someone asked if Derek Funderburk was the son of Lawrence Funderburke, hence my reason for believing that you might have made the same mistake.
