Like most of you, really disappointed with that loss. Still a lot of basketball to be played, but feel the guys are making any shot at winning a B1G title more difficult than it needs to be in a down year for the conference. Not giving up and will support this team to the end though.

Thought we lost the game on defensive end. Sure we went ice cold in last 5 mins and didn't get an obvious call late in the game, but that is life on the road.

Jok got his points which is expected from a great player, but we gave up way to many easy baskets in the paint. I don't think we have personnel to zone, but there needs to be some tweaks to how our bigs defend the high screen and roll and how this team pressures the ball. The book is out on how to beat us.

One other thing that might help this team going forward is slowing the tempo and playing a possession style of game like Wisky, Butler, Virginia, especially on the road. We can play faster pace like tonight, but I think it effects our effort on D. I hate that style, but we have inside size and outside skill to pull it off. The Wisconsin game was ugly, and we looked pretty good playing ugly.

What makes you think that Purdue doesn't have the personnel to zone (or trap or press)? I'm just curious because I absolutely believe that they do have the personnel to do other things defensively. You don't think that a lineup of Carsen Edwards, either Cline or Mathias, Smotherman, Vince Edwards, and either Swanigan or Haas could get stops or force turnovers in a variation of traps or a variation of zones?

Testify brother! Such radical thinking, I didn't know how Iowa was able to pull that off until I looked at there lineup and thought these dudes are ultra athletic, like the friggin GS Warriors
