It’s too early some of those players in the portal will be back. Odom seems to be wanting to take a different approach than Cignetti and build around what we have. Some of the guys you show as seniors have eligibility left such as card (although he is expected to leave), Stevens, and I think Dixon-Veal.

I dont think a lot of P4 schools are going to offer him NIL or guaranteed playing time after last year. He's probably looking at the MAC or something comparable. Maybe I'm way off here.

It looks like Texas protected his redshirt as a freshman, so he had three years left when he got to Purdue. He’s got talent, hope he stays to compete for the starting job in a “real” offense next season.

My gut feeling says that I think Davila may end up being a better overall QB wherever he plays than Card when all is said and done. I wonder what Meredith will bring to the table during QB competition?

I suspect if a better option can be found via the portal that will be our QB. But that's obviously not a given.

I thought Brohm left the kitchen bare, especially on the OL and WR. Walters brought in a young staff, and I was expecting better recruits, which I think he was building. They brought in better WRs and OLs. I had high expectations of the OL this year and was totally disappointment. Card was very good as a QB, but the OL let him down. The new WRs did a much better job fighting for the ball but dropped too many passes.

Our D missed too many tackles, basic stuff. Our punter did a good job.

Agree. He mostly wasn’t the problem but Harrell and Walters broke him and Indont know if it can be fixed. If he’s going to continue to be utterly gunshy, he won’t thrive anywhere in D1
