2017 #1 recruit in the country Michael Porter Jr. just decommitted from Washington. Porter is from Missouri and Cuonzo seems to be the favorite at the moment! Would be a huge land for his Mizzou rebuilding effort.

That job is such a cherry job. It really is. Surprised Crean didn't jump all over that. I think Zo is gonna do great there.
Apparently Porters father has an assistant job offer there from Zo. Porter Sr had previously been an assistant on the girls team. There is also a younger brother in 2018 who is leaning toward Missouri. He is a fringe 5 star
And your point is? Maybe go be a Mizzou fan since you worship Zo so much.
Maybe he's too busy trying to win a tournament and Zo doesn't have to.
Whats the problem with liking him? I see E'Twaun and Hummel posts all the time about their careers. Get over yourself Purdue fans are allowed to root for Boilers.
I think Porter is deciding based on if his dad gets a job offer. Painter likely wouldn't get rid of one of his assistants to land him. Zo on the other hand needs assistants so its the perfect situation
There is a proposal in the April meetings by the NCAA for this very issue...although it doesn't stop from hiring a dad who also is actually a coach (like Harbaugh at Michigan or Cuonzo at Missouri) but it would prevent giving a dad or mom a job as an aide, secretary, analyst, etc. Many have called it the Saban or Harbaugh Law.
Unfortunately it happens. The guy is an assistant coach on the Women's team at Mizzou. He gets an assistant job at Washington for the Men's team and his kid commits there. That right there stinks. But wait, it gets better. Washington coach gets fired and kid wants to re-open his recruitment. Now there is talk of him getting an asst job with Mizzou and he and the kid going there.
I love college basketball, it is one of my favorite hobbies. But I admit there are times I have to either hold my nose or just play dumb about some of the slimy things that happen in order for me to continue to love it.
Kind of like Kansas having a full roster of players this season after their issues...?
This guy's father is one heck of a coach and I think we need to double his salary and bring him here. Not only that, but the guy, who advertises his car dealership here, needs to hire him and pay him dearly to be his spokesman.
