Creating sexes and genders and blurring very simple things is destroying this country. Where did norms go? How is this instance good for sport and our country?
It includes people that don’t fall into your simplified view of the world. Quick search shows 7 million intersex people in the US. Seems like they would appreciate knowing where they fit in. That’s not even including the millions of transgender people too.

I didnt realize this was even happening at HS level. Seems to have a lot of questions to me of grabbing a lot of areas. I could maybe see boxing but wrestling? Just seems like a bad idea to me
The crap going on in schools today is very disturbing for many. Curriculum, sports, covid handling, virtual learning is all a part of it. I’m glad not to have kids in schools today, but certainly worry for my grandkids and the many others.
IMO this is why more people are homeschooling and private schools along with using other private services
After watching Olympics Fencing would seem a good sport where M and F could compete against each other . Equestrian can , I mean really just very few things it would be fair. Sure the best F basketball player can school a lot of guys but not the best ones. We could have wheelchair basketball players on the regular team too. At some point on physical levels we aren't all equal. What about the 7 footer vs the 6 footer ? Bowling could be another good one I guess.

I think - and I emphasize think, because I have not taken the time to fully study the issue - that this is where I land.
Gender is much more than biology, and I have no problem with the concept of transgender. Physiology is different, though (with the rare exceptions as noted above). It seems reasonable that sports could be divided along physiological lines.
That said, I wonder about how absolute it should be. Would hormone therapy lessen the alleged physiological performance gap?
All in all, it's not nearly as simple an issue as it seems at first glance.
