Congrats Boilers!!

We win one we didn't need. A trap game, on the road, against a team that needed a win. We played smart, and we had more than enough fire power and good enough defense. Nice work.

nw was 0 for 10 from 3 in the 2nd half, that was big.

Congrats to the team and specifically CMP! I thought he coached a damn fine game.

First off, hats off to Coach Collins and Northwestern. His game plan was the blueprint to beat us. We will probably see this type of defense, at some point, during each remaining game of the year. Double the post on the entry feed to make the ball move immediately. This time of year, opposing coaches are going to try to take away your strength which NW did for most of the game. Haas never got comfortable and it took Biggie a while, but he finally got the ball with enough space to do something (good job CMP!).

What can you say about Biggie man? The guy is a WARRIOR! His attitude and fight is second to none. Makes you want to jump in a foxhole with him and help him out.

Great game by Vince by probing the defense and being opportunistic. Dakota with a great first half that kept us in it.

I thought it was a good move to bench Haas and Carsen (tho I love C-Boogie and he will be great for us).

Spike gave us some solid minutes too. The steal, the passes, drawing fouls. Probably his best floor game of the year.

Great game to get us into tourney mode. Who knows how things unfold from here, but if we can play with the collective fight we showed today, you can keep your head held high and be proud.

Purdue's defense was good. Both teams were a little cold from 3.

yes....both were 4-19.....that's approaching the Arctic. I'm not sure if either team made one in the second half. Boilers really tightened up the D the last twenty-five minutes......good signs.

Can't believe how excited I am now thinking and watching VE play as a Senior next year. Coming on strong for sure.

Yeah,Collins can coach, but he needs to get a technical for taking two steps onto the floor. He did that more than once today, and surely the refs knew he as there.Congrats to our fine coach,Matt Painter.
