There are consequences to "covid in a vacuum" thinking/policy. We are going to pay a severe price in the coming years. Night after night this Dr. Wen would appear on CNN during the pandemic. Always bashing the states that didn't follow the CDC/Fauci plan/covid in a vacuum policy.

Is streaming dead? Just this year, Netflix stock lost 25% in one day and another 35% this week. CNN+ flopped after one month. Are we about to see The Great Comeback for cable TV networks?

Not sure it's so much dead, but more there are so many now. Rule in our house, we only pay for three, want to add a new one, have to drop one.

Ultimately, the issue is every media company is getting greedy and wanting a piece of the pie. Unfortunately they are all ran by idiots who couldn't understand that the more pieces you cut, the smaller the pieces get.

Are people really living like March '20?

I have been back to 100% normal since the mask removal for schools.

I'm doing gymnastics, swim club, softball, school musical, band, clubs...and by doing I mean the coolest chauffeur.

It’s always greed. My company is on a major “cost saving” initiative, because the shareholders liked the savings from hardly any travel the last two years. Not they’re looking to slash everywhere to give the shareholders even more.

But the law of diminishing returns kicks in and folks realize it’s just greed disguised as “savings” and, well, we know how it goes. It only takes a few to ruin it for the many.

Are you getting paid less because of this "greed"? Corporations are full of waste that's disguised as "necessary spending" in order to make a sale or produce a product. When corporations figure out they can still produce a product and make a sale without the waste, it's an easy decision to make. Unfortunately for you, part of your job and other's jobs in the company was waste. I've seen it before. You whine around that you're losing your discretionary spending that you don't pay for out of your own pocket, while the company makes a business decision to improve their profits, because that's what companies should be doing. It's called giving a better return on investment to the shareholders who actually invested in the company. Calling it "greed" is ridiculous...

Pat, I’m going to offer you a bit of unsolicited advice. Two pieces, actually: 1). If you’re going to post something as a response that in no way relates to anything I said, please rethink your post. In no way did I say anything any kind of impact on me. I was using my company as an example as to how greed permeates everything. And 2, and this is the most relevant one: kindly shut the fukk up.

Have a great weekend.

It was perfectly relevant to your whiny ass post. Love how you take aggressive deniability as your approach when you can't handle the truth. Here's another unsolicited piece of feedback for you that you won't like. Stop being a "victim". You whine about corporate "greed" just like Elizabeth Warren. When you own or have controlling interest in a company, you can run it any damn way you please. It ain't your f'ing money you're spending. So stop acting like a little biatch...
