Colvin and Catchings look great. Benter looks better than Cline did in HS.

Need someone like Carsen Edwards.

Giarricci Harris (Big Dog's son) might work. Need to recruit out-of-state, more!

You think it would be an "easy sell" with what Carsen did for Purdue in 2019 NCAAs.

Need guards that can do more than shoot open 3's.

Fletcher can but he is not enough.

A lot of it comes down to being able to step up when the pressure is the greatest. If you look at the stats, Purdue did not lose Friday because of its defense. It was two things that killed Purdue: turnovers and poor shooting. The frustrating thing is that it almost looked like FDU was leaving the shooters too open and they were all afraid to shoot. I have never seen such hesitation from an entire group of players who have proven their ability to shoot in the past. The tough thing with the “yips” is that the more you care, the more pressure you feel, and the more pressure you feel, the harder it is to relax and perform. In the 2019 run, Carsen and Cline were playing with the utmost confidence with nothing to lose. I wish I had any easy formula for Purdue, but the guys are just going to have to step up when the pressure is greatest and overcome the mental block. They need to be able to block out the doubters and the critics and just perform like they are capable of.

Don’t leave out the number of offensive rebounds that they had, which was unbelievable with our height advantage. It came down to us being out hustled, bad blocking out, and their quickness.

They were "dazed" from the get go, almost as if watching the other beat them.. ..the looks on their faces reflected no energy or confidence, it was over , before it was over.....

And partially because we had the nation’s best rebounder running around the 3 point line.
