I love hoops, but football season is the best. I can't wait for the game tomorrow and I certainly hope we see a team ready to compete from whistle to whistle. No stage too big. Fundamentally sound -- no dumb lapses. Ready to make plays. I have high hopes -- not W and L hopes because I simply don't know. But high hopes we are on the right path forward. We'll know by this time tomorrow.
Separately, dropped my oldest off at her college of choice a few days ago. A different world from what I remember as a freshman at Purdue. I hope she loves going to games as much as I do and falls in love with the spirit of fall excitement. And goes to class. And graduates in four years...
