Can Purdue fans make this a home court advantage?

A Saturday afternoon conference championship semifinal game at 1 pm 60 miles from campus and 50,000+ alumni in the area.

IU is out, so their fans won't be around driving up prices (and the other opponents won't have some huge influx of fans). Tickets on StubHub have already dropped under $30.

Purdue fans really haven't "invaded" Indianapolis since the year they won the tournament (and even that championship game had a couple thousand unsold tickets).

Can Purdue fans actually come through? I'm not talking about a good number of fans, I'm talking about Mackey Arena south.

I want to be there tomorrow, but my brother and his kids are visting from out of state, so I guess I'm making excuses. Hopefully, I can convince him to take them and have all of my family go.

Individual situations aren't necessarily excuses, but 50,000+ alumni do not have set plans tomorrow. Either that or Purdue gets a 0 rating on ESPN games cause our fans have such ridiculous social lives...sigh. :)

Take them all! It's time like these where I wish I still lived in the midwest.

I went every year when I lived in Indy. Probably won't make it down this time as we are in Fort Wayne now. It is hard enough explaining to an Iu wife why she needs to watch the kids 25+ times a year for my season football and bball tickets! I never miss a home game even with the 4 hour round trip drive. Cheer loud for me Indy Boilers!

I'll be there... Will you? So far we have nothing but regret letters.
