I think most would say that Painter doesn’t want that circus … and they are probably right.
I assume UCLA or similar would be the natural choice. However, my guess is that three things will happen:
1. He will bring some serious talent with him … A Fab 5 type of class
2. He’ll break the NIL record
3. His presence will have a lasting impact such as Carsen or Rondale
One other note, I wonder if he played with Juwan Howard’s kid when he was younger
