You laugh but he did more with half the salary. Imagine if he could have hired a better OC and DC
Gary Nord wasn't terrible. I could've dealt with it if they could have hired a decent defensive corrdinator which they never could.
Yes, it is a sad fact that in the post-Tiller era a marquee win means beating the worst OSU team since 1988 (the 2011 Buckeyes team that Hope beat finished 6-7 overall & 3-5 in B1G play).
You can actually go back a number of years into the Tiller era and that would still be the case. I don't think we ever beat a ranked team with Curtis Painter at QB either.
I don't think people are clamoring for conference titles here...we want to see games not be over at half time and a team not give up.
He was bad. Never cracked the top 50 I believe. Better than what we have now though which isn't a real world comparison.
