From what I understand, Jeff Brohm is VERY open to letting his players pursue multiple sports. Look at Marcellus Moore, whom Brohm let run track all during spring football. Not many football coaches would be keen on that.
Maliq Carr opted to transfer because a promised spot on the basketball roster never materialized. Why? Not sure.
But I do know this: Brohm was willing to make the situation work, but Carr really had his heart set on playing hoops along with football. And, MSU apparently offered a better option.
As I mentioned earlier, Purdue still has many good options at WR in Bell, Wright, Anthrop, Sheffield, Sullivan, Yaseen and Rice.
