I'm glad they threw some Purdue gear on him. In his ESPN/CBS interviews, wearing no Purdue stuff. Nitpicking!
I'm 42 and would love to have some mentoring from Mr. Barnes. But first I'd buy him a cold one for the heartwarming and immensely special gift of himself that he gave to young Caleb.he's very focused and mature. i was going to say for his age, but really he is just focused and mature for anyone ... period.
i also think that rosey barnes has prepped him to maximize every opportunity he may ever be given, including how to handle and carry yourself. seeing biggie makes me wish i could go back in time and have a mentor like Mr. Barnes.

Fixed it for you.If each of us took in a Caleb Swanigan every few years imagine how good the world would be.
+1,000,000I've spent some time reflecting on Biggie's story...What Roosevelt Barnes did was incredible and how well he did it even more so. However, I think Biggie being special had to start even before that...Roosevelt talks about how smart Biggie was even at the age of 13 and how he could sit down and reason with him etc. I think Biggie was also very blessed to have a family that recognized that if Biggie was to survive he had to get off the streets...That means his brother Carl and goodness knows his Mom for giving up her "technical" parental rights to protect the baby in the family....I call that real courage from them both and I think they are undoubtedly one of the reasons Caleb has worked so hard and why getting to the NBA is so important to him. I think he feels he needs to give back to the people he loves that gave up so much for him....Caleb Swanigan is truly a remarkable young man.

Mike Hall is a jagoff.Did anyone else feel awkward during the "best three point shooter" question and subsequent back and forth? Haha
Everytime you post a message, I hear it as if Bane was saying it.Mike Hall is a jagoff.
I think Biggie's answer to the 3 Point Question was in absolute keeping with Rosie's philosophy that Rosie explained in the 19 minute"His Story" video. Rosie said he used to have Biggie repeat out loud that he was the best at anything he told Biggie that he could do because he needed Biggie to first say it out loud to reinforce to himself that he could do it and that he could be the best even from the very beginning.....at least that's what instantly came to mind for me when I heard Biggie's answer. It simply just didn't come across as "bragging" to me....

I thought it was funny.
Biggie never wavered either. With his deadpan style I wonder if he plays any poker...
