If they go to Minneapolis they definitely won't win a game.
Painter???

Damn, I got the wrong tickets! No wonder they were so cheap. If they go to Minneapolis they definitely won't win a game.
It's just a brutal game period.Watching this IU game. I almost feel bad for how badly this game is being officatied. Surprisingly, my buddy agrees (this isn't the norm) and he's an IU fan.
When OSU was up 10. I looked at him and said these refs will stop the flow and IU will go on a 'ref' run.....they didIt's just a brutal game period.

Hopefully Indiana shows up. Only real bright spot on the year and what I will be happy seeing is Anthony Leal finally getting recognition to end his career. Should be All-B1G Defensive team without any doubt.another rock fight.....shocker.
Both teams shoot < 40%; Indiana 5/20 from beyond the arc but won the battle of the boards and FT edge. Four Buckeye starters played 34+ minutes.....that didn't help them either.
Oregon/Indiana (8/9) game could be interesting - second game between the two teams in 9 days.
No chanceHopefully Indiana shows up. Only real bright spot on the year and what I will be happy seeing is Anthony Leal finally getting recognition to end his career. Should be All-B1G Defensive team without any doubt.
At Indiana showing up? Well it's 50/50 so you could be right. No chance
So Purdue has the 4 seed then, and a probable game against Wisconsin?
Purdue gets the 6 seed. No chance at a top 4 seed now.So Purdue has the 4 seed then, and a probable game against Wisconsin?
More ironically, they could still play in the 14-11 game as well. If Nebraska and Rutgers win tomorrow, that's what happens.#6 seed. UCLA, Wisconsin, and Purdue end up in a 3-way tie for 4th, and Purdue loses on the tie-breakers.
Boilers get the winner of the 14/11 game, which for now is Minnesota/Rutgers. Ironically, they play at Rutgers tomorrow to end the regular season.

Minnesota and Nebraska win.....11 Minnesota vs 14 Northwestern
Minnesota and Iowa win.......11 Minnesota vs 14 USC
Rutgers and Nebraska win.....11 Rutgers vs 14 Minnesota
Rutgers and Iowa win....11 Rutgers vs 14 USC
Caveat: I didn't flip the other remaining games to see if the tiebreaker changes based on who the #2 seed ends up being.
Edit to the Caveat: Michigan beating MSU doesn't change it.
Minnesota's been something of a Boiler killer in the B1G Tournament.#6 seed. UCLA, Wisconsin, and Purdue end up in a 3-way tie for 4th, and Purdue loses on the tie-breakers.

Seems like they beat Purdue and couple times back in the late Keady era, too. The details of those early B1G tournaments are getting fuzzier each year. I remember Purdue beat Indiana and got to the finals the first year before losing to Michigan. But Gene went something like 1-7 after that.Just had to go there, rgarlitz, huh?
Most recently, 2019 and 2010......I have tried to block that 2010 game out of my memory, one of the more discombobulated and inept offensive performances I've seen from a Purdue team (which was understandable under the circumstances). Purdue trailed at the half 37-11, and if not for a Ja Juan Johnson basket with two seconds left, the Boilers would have been in single digits.

After today, it will probably be the Minnesota/ Rutgers winner, then Michigan on Friday. Maryland would potentially be next.So as of today we play winner of Minnesota/Northwestern Thursday and then Maryland to get to semis on Friday.
If Michigan State wins, Michigan falls to the 3.So as of today we play winner of Minnesota/Northwestern Thursday and then Maryland to get to semis on Friday.
Michigan will make a run, but at this point already it doesn't look like it'll be enough. Sparty looks focused. Jerry Palm thinks they still have an outside shot at a #1, but with the way Alabama/Tennessee/Florida looked yesterday, that shot might be waaaaaay outside now.Sparty winning in a blowout….

Iowa led wire-to-wire basically. Very shocked at that, with so much on the line. A couple of weeks ago, Nebraska was in good position to make the NCAA. Now they wait for their Crown Invite.Welp - in the Corn Battle Royale, Iowa prevails over Nebraska (83-68) and knocks them out of the BTT field. Cornhuskers with a meltdown down the stretch, dropped six of seven and torpedoed any NCAA tournament hopes.
Looks like Purdue will get the winner of #14 (USC) v. #11 (Rutgers/Minnesota - the winner of today's regular season finale, currently tied at 50 with 6 minutes to go).
Non-conference, it's North Carolina in Maui. Meh.What is Michigan State's best win?
No disrespect to Palm (a Purdue alumnus) and the Spartans (despite my jabs at Izzo from time to time), I just don't see it from the resume even if they win the BTT. No doubt they are really good and playing well, but the Big Ten is well below the SEC this year at the top. The highest #2? Yeah, I could see that.
Newsflash - I've been wrong before and will be again....haha.
You could argue Michigan wants no part of Illinois on the #2/7 line.Looks like IF the Boilers win TH, they get a rubber game match against the Wolverines.

They do now have 12 Q1 wins. But like I said, they needed help yesterday and certainly didn't get it. Entrenched on the 2-line now though. I will be interested to see if they end up in the Midwest though. It would make more logical sense, but then you're sending one of the SEC teams out west, to also be possibly paired with a conference foe as the #1.
I mean it's a valid question right now. Duke passed Auburn for #1 in the NET. If that flips things with locations could change a bit. It would send Auburn to Indy, then definitely send Houston to SF, then the other #1 from the SEC to Newark.Guess it could also possibly depend if Duke jumps Auburn for the overall #1 - I don't think they should. I had seen a lot of projected brackets with Michigan State in Atlanta (South Region).
Other than the extra game, I can’t say I am disappointed in the route Purdue hasWhat is Michigan State's best win?
