Transgenderism and all of the other many initials should be accepted, but not celebrated. They are abnormal.

There’s nothing stopping you for lobbying for two months for the military. I mean it should be every single day, but start there and work your way up. I hope you’re just as mad at breast cancer awareness month too since boobs get a WHOLE MONTH in the spotlight.
Memorial Day isn't for "the military". It's for service members who died for our nation.
Just another example of Washington screwing around while much more serious issues need attention. A prime example is passing laws pertaining to "hair discrimination" and making lynching a "hate crime." Murder is already a crime. If I'm lynched I'm going to assume hate was involved.

It is good that you pay your taxes and mow your lawn. However, it has nothing to do with the point of my post. When I say "abnormal", I am referring to the biology of the issue. Why are there 2 sexes and why is heterosexuality considered normal, at least by many?

I'm sort of middle aged, not fat, white (except on the days when I identify as black).
And, I don't cry about everything, I only cry about people who want special attention and special treatment because they think they're different.

How about the girl who didn't get a scholarship to swim on the women's swim team at Penn because the final scholarship was given to a man?
If you were that girl or her family, I'd say that's an impact.
And why? All because they didn't want to hurt the feelings of a man who wants to be a woman?

I have a wife and daughters, who are actually females, biologically and physiologically, so yeh, it impacts us.
I have no issues with people being gay, in my opinion it's a choice. I have a niece that is 40ish, she was straight, then went gay and married another woman and is now divorced and dating men. It's not my place to judge anyone but I do believe there comes a time to draw the line on some things but I'm not sure where that line is. It seems to me it's all getting out of control.
Out of curiosity, have you spoken to your niece about this? Would she also say that she "was straight" then "went gay" and now is straight again? Could it be that she's bisexual or pansexual?
You're entitled to your opinion that being gay is a choice, but the science pretty clearly says it's not and is rather the result of biological factors.
They don't think they are different, you do. They want to be treated as normal members of the community. The people giving them special treatment and special attention are the people that don't want them to be considered normal.
There's a Native American Heritage Month, a Black History Month, an American Heart Month, National Poetry Month, Confederate History Month, an ALS Awareness Month, Jazz Appreciation Month, Women's History Month, and the list goes on and on.

NOBODY gives a damn about your sex life, unless you make it a point to use it as an issue. Since you announced your sexual preference, apparently you feel you can use it to your advantage, somehow.
You can spin it however you want, but homosexuality & transgender are NOT normal. They are deviations from normal, which is why the Left is so desperate to try to add more to the ranks by indoctrinating 5 to 8 year old kids into believing it's normal.
I'm not saying that being gay or trans makes you any less a person or that you don't have the same human rights that everyone else has, I'm merely saying it's NOT normal.
BTW, a birthing person is ALWAYS a WOMAN, no matter how the Left tries to muddy genders.
If they wanted to be considered a normal part of society, they wouldn't need to flaunt their sexuality. If PF1 hadn't announced it here, I very much doubt that anyone would have had a clue, what his sexual proclivities were. What made him feel the need to add that to the discussion?
I think most people don't care one way or another, until they have a gay activist getting in their face, making demands. That usually causes people, who were ambivalent to form negative opinions. If the gay and trans people would just settle for being a part of the community, I doubt there would be a problem. When they feel they need to be a "Special" part of the community, things get polarized.
Here's the problem with that. Trans people can now join our military services and their 'conditions' are treated at military hospitals. So what if a guy joins the Army, decides he wants to become a woman, then goes to the Army hospital to get gender change surgery? And of course the full followup with estrogen therapy, etc, all at taxpayer expense?
