Belmont Steals an bid - is it IU's?

Belmont upset #25 Murray State in the Ohio Valley Final. They get the league's bid. Will the NCAA leave out the #25 team? Possible as it was done last year (SMU.) But do they do it twice?

Last 4 in begin to look shaky.

I think Murray gets in. IU - not so sure. A one and done in the BTT puts them out imo.

IU had losses in 8 of their last 12 games. That resume alone will keep them NIT eligible at best. Davis, Sampson, Crean....anyone see a pattern?

Not just razzing on IU because I'm a Purdue guy, but 3-6 or 4-8 down the last portion of the season is no way to enter any tournament, let alone the NCAA tourney.

I bet there is a lot of praying that Illinois St doesn't win also.

Lunardi says Murray State is out. 70 RPI, 71 BPI, and no quality wins.


I'd like to see them get in because I think they could pull a shocker or two, but the metrics don't support it. Even Sagarin has them at 67th.
