Bad loss. Swanigan- gotta give that move up!

Three times in a row down the stretch they fed Swanigan and he tried to force it and turned the ball over. It was maddening. We had been doing well the whole game shooting the ball, as they were double teaming our bigs. So why go to our less effective (today) option three times in a row? Swanigan should have passed out to the shooter... Very disappointed.

Unreal how Purdue gave game away, this loss is on Painter. Was doing good then decided to keep going under to Swanigan, turnover city the last 2 minutes. Was I watching a different game than Painter?

I don't buy the Painter blame. I highly doubt Painter told Biggie to hold the ball for 15 seconds under the rim then turn the ball over. That was Biggies decision not to pass out to the shooter.

And how do you correct those mistakes? Possibly by coaching?

Yeah, what is wrong with Painter! He should of been on the court making the passes FOR Biggie!
Have you heard of this concept called practice? Probably not because you're just an out of shape message board troll that gets triggered by any reasonable gripe after a terrible loss. I'm not in the fire painter camp, but it is fair to criticize him after terrible losses just as it's fair to praise him after big wins.

There is something wrong with the culture at Purdue that allows these kind of losses to occur. You have to admit something repetitive like today and Iowa should not happen.

Add to that the total failure of the 2013 entry class and it points to something that is very wrong.

Lol I'm here win or lose chump change so as usual, you negatwatts are wrong again. I also have little doubt I am in better shape than you. And I doubt it's even close, so put down the chips and get a Basketball for dummies book and you might learn a thing or two..

Biggie had 6 assists tonight and a large portion came from shooters getting open after the entry pass. Like I said in another post, if they don't rotate over there is no kickout because they are all standing around watching. If they get open he will pass the ball. He got zero calls this game both on the offensive and defensive end and still managed 14,14 and 6

Alright you win, this is the stupidest thing on here. Allows these losses to occur? I mean nebraska should of just rolled over and not played right? Or how about the huge wins we've had this year? But those don't count because it doesn't fit your negatwitt agenda.

Seriously you so called fans need a pair of nuts and need to stop being such whiners.

What huge wins do we have? Tell me. Lost to Nova...lost to the Ville. None...Zilch!

At least other coaches now know that 3 on 1 Swanigan is fine with, they just can't get greedy and drop 4 down to guard him, he may in fact pass it back out....

His stock went way down that game imo. He better be special in the tournament or he second round riding pine. Bad down the stretch

Three losses to teams in the bottom half of the league standings is disconcerting.

In all three, Purdue failed to match the intensity of its opponent.

You can bet that will be in bold on the scouting report every game for the rest of the season.

Really will hurt our seeding for the NCAA Tournament. These type of losses put you at 5-12 seed, not where you want to be.

Purdue is like the old Cubs teams. They are wiĺling to be lovable losers happy to compete. For too long, mediocrity has been tolerated by the Admin. They are unwilling to demand excellence from the Revenue sports.

Kessel, if I am an idiot, please then explain why the 2013 recruiting class failed as it did. Can you think of another B1G school that has had a class fail like that? I cannot, so please identify one.
