what did you really expect? a week or so earlier a dumb poster said purdue was back! i responded, back from where? you had this coach as some kind of savior. purdue was one game over 500 last year and you all acted like you would challenge for the big ten title. relax, be happy to make a bowl game every 5 or 10 years and be happy.

You know, you can't blame Hazell for this one man. He's been gone two years and Brohm is now recruiting for his third class. Dumb penalties, dumb calls by the staff add up to a loss to a team that's not all that bad. They hung with the Boilers all day and were there at the end when they needed it.
We had dozens of opportunities to win the game. I am so p!ssed because we lost the game more than EMU won it. Fumbles, Penalties, Poor Kicking Game, overall lack of preparation.
You can to a point because some of his recruits are still playing and that is evident on the field. As someone else said, Brohm's first ever recruits are Frosh.
But his first class wasn’t a full recruiting cycle and you are forced with a few leftovers from the previous staff.
Then how do you explain they won enough last year to make a bowl and looked better. Those were more of Hazell's recruits. I know a lot of folks believe Brohm is the fix to the problem, but I'm still sitting here questioning if there wasn't someone better. He's going to have to show a lot more to convince me that he's worth that $3,000,000+.

You can’t be this dense. Those that graduated last year were the only serviceable Hazell recruits. We have one good player on defense and a few average ones. On offense the line can’t even get a push against a MAC team. Who recruited that line mainly? Get a grip and realize this year, and possibly next year, is rebuild time. We just need to keep the guys that are coming in this year and a panty twisting meltdown by the “fans” won’t help.

Sure, lets blame the players. You know, the same one's who have played under Brohm's guidence and in his system for two years now. And then there are those actual Brohm recruits that he's brought in. Sorry, but the coach sets the tone and all those penalties and all those stupid mistakes are his responsibility. Look it up and let me know how many of those on the field today came to play for and were recruited by CB.

The only thing to blame Brohm with is the stupid two QB system. Brohm didn’t do the sack push, nor did he throw the RB after 10 seconds of whistles. So pardon me while I blame the folks on the field that are making those decisions.
He might not have thrown that RB but I bet he wanted to choke slam Neal after that play.
