In Australia, anyone who enters the country illegally is FOREVER banned from entering the country again. This includes asylum seekers. A migrant who enters Australia illegally is apprehended and transported to Christmas Island. Here the Australian government pays CI to house them, feed them and provide them with medical care. They are free to leave at any time and they can stay as long as they wish. But they cannot return to Australia under any circumstances.

Under this policy, illegal immigration dropped from 16,000/year to fewer than fifty. At the same time, Australia is one of the most generous nations on earth for accepting legal immigrants.

Nearly every country on the planet has stronger and more restrictive immigration policies than the US. And that's not an exaggeration.
It's literally harder for a US citizen to immigrate to Mexico!

And this brings us back around to the resounding, basic question: If these migrants truly want asylum, why don't they apply in Mexico?

I’m thinking Trump should call Justin Trudeau and ask if he wants 10MM refugees (aka Kamala supporters) and we will keep the illegal immigrants.

Win win
