So Twitter is reporting multiple Assistant Coaches, managers, financial advisors, and shoe representatives have been arrested for fraud. Rumor it is Adidas related. Press conference at noon.
Hmmm...
Hmmm...
Sounds like a claim a Louisville recruit got $100K???
If this doesn’t destroy Pitino, nothing will.
pitino is made of crisco. You already know the narrative. It's was a rogue assistant, I knew nothing about it.
Notice it's all assistant head coaches, not a single head man mentioned.
It wasn't me. I was in a booth at that little Italian restaurant down the road having an intimate "conversation" with the assistant's wife at the time. You already know the narrative. It's was a rogue assistant, I knew nothing about it.

Hang on there - Lute was killing it on the recruiting trail all the way back in the 80s.Well, now we know why Arizona suddenly had success at landing big time recruits out of nowhere. Not that we were actively competing against those folks, but if Louisville gets dragged into it, that all but guarantees Romeo to IU. Threw up in my mouth a little typing that.
and bruce pearl at auburn...lol...same old dogs. same old tricks.Hang on there - Lute was killing it on the recruiting trail all the way back in the 80s.
But no wonder Sean Miller is so sweaty all the time...
UL is not even playing the same sport as us... wonder if they bought Malik Williams also... or did they just start buying players in June? This could also explain why it took Bowen so long to sign and then signed with Louisville totally out of the blue.
I've always thought Izzo and painter ran a clean program. And Bowen was a 100% prediction for MSU, Izzo turned his back on him, and painter never went after him even with a glaring hole and scholarship to give when biggie left. I guess Bowen's asking price was too high?
Was Bowen also being recruited by those other schools being named?
IU could get dragged into this. There’s a lot more than 4 rogue assistant coaches going on here.Well, now we know why Arizona suddenly had success at landing big time recruits out of nowhere. Not that we were actively competing against those folks, but if Louisville gets dragged into it, that all but guarantees Romeo to IU. Threw up in my mouth a little typing that.
This isn’t the NCAA. It’s the FBI. This is real. You already know the narrative. It's was a rogue assistant, I knew nothing about it.

You can see why CMP doesn't land a lot of 5 stars if he is not willing to put up with this bullshit. ncaa has no balls though, that's why it continues.
And I hate to say it, but the Bowen situation paints Izzo in a pretty good light also.I have been catching sh*t from the "no one is cheating" crowd for a while for saying this. Painter is one of the FEW that are playing by the rules
wonder if Malik will get second thoughts?UL is not even playing the same sport as us... wonder if they bought Malik Williams also... or did they just start buying players in June?

Not saying anything negative abut Malik, but would you want CMP to touch any of these guys right now? I wouldn't until the smoke clears......no telling the implications.wonder if Malik will get second thoughts?![]()

Well, nothing would happen right away...and as you imply it is "possible" he has no involvement. That said...HE is the one that shocked me not going to PurdueNot saying anything negative abut Malik, but would you want CMP to touch any of these guys right now? I wouldn't until the smoke clears......no telling the implications.
So are you saying the LaLu coaches are implicit in this? Seems reasonable to me.Hey guys;
Archie Miller has never had a recruit worth paying for.
Ed S is the only IU assistant who's been in that position in the remotely recent past.
and...
You guys DEFINITELY don't want ANY part of Tyger Campbell, and I'm pretty sure that Painter is smart enough to understand that. If he wasn't before, he sure as heck will be today!
No, not if UL bought him. However, that might not be the case? Still, he is the one I thought was going to Purdue and so ...maybe he does have involvement to some degree? If UL bought him, would Painter even want him?
Kind of came out of nowhere like Arizona. .
Where was the NCAA in all of this? If you look at how they reacted to the UNC violations, it is no wonder that the FBI is involved. The NCAA just looks the other way. This isn’t the NCAA. It’s the FBI. This is real.
Of course we know Twitter is a dangerous source for breaking news, but this could impact PU's game against UofL this year if Bowen's eligibility comes into question.
Any player found to be paid, will be ineligible anyways. No, not if UL bought him. However, that might not be the case? Still, he is the one I thought was going to Purdue and so ...maybe he does have involvement to some degree?
preferential treatment ? The NCAA is a jokeWhere was the NCAA in all of this? If you look at how they reacted to the UNC violations, it is no wonder that the FBI is involved. The NCAA just looks the other way.
for the same duration that a school may be? Rhetorical I know...Any player found to be paid, will be ineligible anyways.

They know where their bread is buttered....preferential treatment ? The NCAA is a joke
