AP Poll Deecmber 2: Purdue Back in the Top 10

Over the last few years, how many weeks has Purdue been in top 10? More often than not, is my guess.

Kind of taken for granted at this s point.

Purdue has been in every poll since the second one of the 2022-23 season, for a total of 42 weeks. In only three of those it was not in the top 10, two of them being this year.

If Purdue had been in the top 25 for the 2022-23 preseason and week 1 it would be in 63 consecutive polls and in the top 10 in 59 of those 63.

I think the current ranking is a bit high. But, enjoy that Purdue is now a little over ranked because of their reputation.

I was actually thinking the same. Its crazy that Matt Painter has such a reputation now that he is getting over ranked.

I will say this about Painter, if I had a 7'0 or taller son with NBA asperations, 100% i would be pushing for him to go to Purdue. No one in the country is better at developing big men the last 20 years.

It probably shouldn’t be, but it’s surprising to me that only 36 teams were ranked during that period.
