I guess most people work the 4 ten hour days mon-thurs. No fridays

I mean, the game is over at 11:40 in theory - that's what time the local news is ending/late night shows begin. A lot of people do not go to bed early...

Also, keep in mind for half the country, the game is starting between 6:40 - 8:40 their time.

Amen. We lived in CST for about 15 years. Loved it for watching sports. If you have never lived in a different time zone you think what's the big deal it's one hour. But it really does make a difference.

Yeah, I grew up in Eastern but have lived in central for the last 6 years. I think the best thing about it is Sunday and Monday Night Football. Staying up for those in EST can really kill you the next day.

I hated the 9:40 start time because I felt like I had waited an eternity for game to begin. Plus had difficulty falling asleep as I was hyped. But everything is forgiven - they won!

And that was on Saturday, imagine how long the day is going to seem on Thursday and then trying to sleep after....
