Everyone saw this coming for a while now. Every recruit knows of Purdue's situation and the uncertainty of everything. Our only chance to salvage this offseason is to have a plan in place for potential new coaching hires that have a good recruiting background. If we can get a coach like that in, we can poach recruits and players from their school. When Brohm left, it seemed like he took 25% of that current class and current players with him.
Otherwise, the situation will be even more dire next year than it currently is this year.

When Brohm arrived he brought with him a lot of players he was recruiting for WKU. He also brought several key players from WKU.
It was the same with Neon Dione at Colorado.
In order for any future coach to have any type of success at Purdue, he’s going to have to bring his recruits with him. It’s going to have to be a package deal.
If BoBo hires a coach who does not bring players with him, he is not going to succeed with the current talent on the team. And he’s not going to attract talent either.
In today’s world, recruits want more than just Immediate playing time. That want money and a winning team.
