I think Wisconsin and Illinois being 3+ games back may be too much to make up more than half way through the season.

This league is tough top to bottom. Everyone talks about the Big 12 but we just beat up on each other because everyone is talented

I like how Purdue has come together over the past month. I just keep reminding myself that there are 5 tough road games in February and March plus visits from UCLA and Wisconsin.

Purdue is 9-2 now but could realistically end up 14-6. And that would be very respectable.

For a "reloading" year .. 14-6 I'll take it.. that would still beat my expectations coming in to this year.
