2025 Transfer portal thread

I know you’re tryin to convince yourself if IU gets flory, IU is an instant contender, but Flory has a ways to go. It’s a shame he doesn’t come get developed by the best big man coach in the country—Coach Brantley.
I’m not sure Flory is a great fit for Purdue…. He has absolutely no outside game and would clog things up for TKR. We need a 5 that can also step out and be a threat. DJ imo, is the best fit for Painters system and already in the fold. With that said, another big is definitely a priority because of injury, foul trouble and conditioning. Not sure DJ will be able to play more than 20 min a game. As for IU, they had OB this year and he actually regressed. Until IU does something during the season, they are irrelevant.

It actually was factual. A lot of track athletes miss meets due to minor injuries. A lot of those injuries are faked. The positive drug tests and bad grades were not but were never admitted. Ever notice how Purdue athletes miss games for no real reason. Or have lingering injuries but recover real fast? Ever notice a Purdue player missed a football bowl game and the coach refuses to reveal the reason?
Oh Wole, you just don't get it..... "track" You and Track, make me laugh.

From a site that is about the portal…

Oscar Cluff is the No. 1 overall player in the transfer portal. The 6-foot-11 center is expected to be arriving at Purdue today for his official visit. He will be in West Lafayette until Tuesday morning and will head straight to Iowa State and will wrap up his visit with the Cyclones by Wednesday.

There has been a lot of buzz around Iowa State in this one but let’s see if Matt Painter can work his magic. Cluff averaged 17.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this season.

so money is motivation 1 and winning is a distant second with that list of teams.
New coach, rebuild, just a bad team last year and I’d assume another rebuild, new coach and while I love shrews, he def is willing to spend the NIL to stay at ND and go all in with Haralson. But yeah, money has to be the play here.

Just saw that Buchanan 7 footer from Virginia is currently visiting Iowa State and was seen out with coaches and player while we are hosting Cluff… hopefully that could be a good sign or mean absolutely nothing at all 🤷🏼‍♂️😅

He committed so I think that would strengthen our chances with Cluff unless he’s playing a who’s got the biggest bag game, then who knows
