Yep. Figuring he is from SD, makes sense from keeping close to family/home.
Also their coach used to be at South Dakota St. I'm sure he's been watching him since he was in 8th grade.

IU offers Travis Perry today. Woody says let’s offer whoever Painter offers. He seems to know talent.
In a stunning move, Woody offers Foster Loyer and Braden Smith. He is found disappointed to find out they are in college so it is now considered a recruiting violation.

Benter is a lot like Fletcher. Seems a bit more vertically athletic.
He just seems like a great fit for Purdue. A great student and a great athlete. And the areas that he acknowledges where he needs to improve? Those are the things that Painter prioritizes in teaching.
6’1” to 6’2” range it looks like. He has Loyer type shooting and Smith handles. He could play golf too.
If, he's a mix between those 2. Wow....just wow!
Appears that Painter is not afraid to go after a Kentucky kid with a UK offer. Love it!

Watched some highlights and seems like a taller version of Smith.

Looks like option B if Travis Perry falls through, also could put press on Perry to commit early. Reminds me of last season when Painter brought in Ty Rodgers when Camden Heide was visiting. A week or two later Camden committed. Isn’t Perry making a return visit soon? Could be interesting coming up! Like both players though!
That is big if we get another visit from Perry. He would be a big get.
Good that we are reaching into OK though with Friedrichsen and now Forsythe. OK St and the Sooners are not playing great this year.
And they were on the perimeter for at least one pass before moving to a different location in the flex offense and it could have been another location on the perimeter
Friedrichsen committed to ND - wonder if he sticks there or opens up with Bret leaving.
