2 B1G teams upset ...

Wisconsin on a 7-0 run, and this game is all even at 57; 3:02 left. wow

Update: time-out Villanova with the ball...Wisconsin leads 59-58....2:26 left...could be the first big upset/drama of the tourney.

Tied at 62.....gotta look for Koenig, no?

edit: and it's Hayes with a nice drive....Wisconsin up 64-62 with 11 seconds left; time-out Villanova.....hang on!

Nigel with the basket to put them ahead! Now Nova gonna need some magic like the championship game last year to win this.

Interesting no call there. Not saying it was for sure a foul, but it looked like it could have been called.

I thought the big repped well. The "upsets" were teams with injuries and frankly, weren't really upsets. That MTSU team has high major talent and obviously xavier has a bunch of talent. I never even thought about picking maryland because they haven't played well since the injury. If michigan st holds we will have 3 teams challenging 1 seeds. look out! Good chance we end up with 5 teams in the round of 32. Then we'll see how "down" the conference really is.
CALLED IT. Now where is that stupid **** who said no BIG teams would see the second weekend? He owes me money.

This is all a product of terrible seeding by the committee.

When you undervalue a conference, you under seed, thus creating more difficult first round games...... that causes these upsets. Fortunately it works both ways, bc Villanova def did not want Wisc as a 8 seed in their bracket. Changes to how conferences are viewed need to happen. Maybe late season between conference games... just a thought, bc the opinions of these so called experts are clearly skewed.
