Edey's NBA career starts tonight on live television.

I've found it interesting to listen to some of the pre-draft analysis of Zach and Clingan. First the story was that Clingan was the better athlete, then that he was a more polished offensive player, now it seems to be that he has a better understanding of the game and more upside as a younger player. I'm completely biased, but other than some level of proven outside shooting for Clingan, I just don't see it. I'm probably missing it as I certainly don't know better than the NBA guys, but I'd be interested to hear from the board why you think Clingan is the better pick.

Things did not go as planned for Griffin last year in his first year as a transfer over from Missouri. He played in the first seven games as a regular reserve offensive lineman, but he was lost for the season against Ohio State. He now has one final chance in his COVID year to have a larger impact.

At Missouri he was a regular. He appeared in 33 games and made at least eight starts as one of their top linemen. He did not appear int he spring game this year as he was still recovering from his injury.

How he recovers will impact how much he plays this season. If healthy, Purdue has a starter caliber player ready to go at a moment's notice. Injuries have been a concern for him since HS, however.

According to Zach, the Grizzlies were the only NBA team that stayed in touch and encouraged his growth since he was a sophomore at Purdue. He went on to say he had no idea they would take him at #9.

Hill comes to West Lafayette from the same high school as 2025 basketball target Braylon Mullins. He erned a preferred walk-on spot after spent getting 72 total tackles, including 12 tackles for loss and four sacks in 26 career games. The 6'4", 280-pound lineman also played offensive line for Greenfield Central, where he was an Indiana Football Coaches Association Class 4A Senior All-State Team in 2023. With Greenfield Central he was 9-2 last year, but both losses came to state power New Palestine.
