Just because abortion was sent back to the states doesn't mean it's not a national issue. Wtf are you talking about. You're parroting trump again........who says with a dead brain that EVERYBODY, even dems, wanted Roe overturned. He seems to think that gets him off the hook with women. Totally clueless.
It's very much a national issue. It's the biggest issue with the demographic that might put Harris over the top.
You're just flat out wrong. I live in a fairly conservative/red area and most families that I interact with are conservative, but not evangelical by nature.

The women in those families are uniformly really pissed about the overturn of Roe V. Wade and the message it sent.
JMO 2 cents

It’s only a national issue if 1 of 2 things happen…
1 Democrats get majority rule in HoR and Senate or change the USSC
Or
2 Republicans and Democrats actually decide to “split the baby” King Solomon style. Aka the Republicans agree to allowing a minimum 12 week abortion in all states and the Democrats agree to prevent abortions after 28 weeks except in extenuating circumstances (rape, incest, viability mothers life)

Good luck getting 1 or 2 anytime soon.

Item 2 would be simple with rational thinkers in charge, that’s not going to happen anytime soon in this political environment. Republicans would be well served getting a few more women elected to help rationalize their base.

Look to Europe for some rational thinkers on the current situation. They have both a religious conservative base and socially liberal constituents.

Harris ad triggers the MAGA chauvinists

When I said "I feel like that is horrible and should be immediately stopped, and when a statute fits, should be cause for arrest" I think I clearly addressed your point.

And then I added another example of something awful and worth condemning. Don't you think?
I labeled it as a peeping tom event. That covers my thoughts. Do prosecutors in California prosecute that?

"We are close"......

"We are close"......, says the HC. Yup, we went TOE TO TOE on OUR home field against the second worst team in the Big and almost won. That's what I call progress!!! Eight games in?
Yeah, that's the problem. Purdue had to win that game because Northwestern was probably the last opponent they had a reasonable chance of beating (save maybe--maybe--MSU).

I suspect that Walters understands that deep down. He just had to put something of a positive spin on what was really a damning loss. The rest of this season could get downright ugly.

The election is riding on that 3-4% slice of the electorate that will decide the swing states .

Will people look past what Trump (or comedians at a Trump rally said) said and believe his policies will lift the country out of this hole?
Wil Trump grad enough of the black male votes out of places like Detroit, Philly, Pitt and Atlanta?

Will people believe that Harris will really be different than Biden?
Has her campaign done a good enough job of laying out policy vs just attacking Trump?

When it's all said and done, the entire election will probably come down to 2 states.
Low black turn out will favor Chump and the repubs like it always does historically. However, I do not suspect low black turnout during this election cycle.

Any possible increase in the black support for Chump, certainly no where near what the polls are projecting, will not be nearly enough to swing the election in his favor.

Texas A&M Corpus Christi at Purdue: MASTER DISCUSSION THREAD

Do we get an actual banner now? I was there the last time and think we just got a painted square wasn't it? But been 50+ years so I can't really remember too clearly.
Yes, a banner will be unveiled tonight. One of the twitter handles showed a pic of the rest of them there, with the space for the new one.

You are showing your ignorance ...again.

It is in no way a national issue regardless of who wins. The USSC made it forever more a state issue.

I think you missed the subject where transitioning men are allowed to be in locker rooms with adolescent women….and thus expose their male genitalia to teenage women …but go on with your diatribe about a suspected peeping tom from 23 years ago. I am sure there was more than one man in that room.
